Ahwatukee Lacrosse supports and fosters amateur boys' youth lacrosse and strives to offer the community and youth players the best lacrosse in the valley.

Ahwatukee Lacrosse Mission: to support and foster the development of the best youth lacrosse in Arizona and to build the skills of all players while teaching all aspects of the game of lacrosse.

A focus of Ahwatukee Lacrosse is to grow awareness and education of lacrosse in the greater Phoenix, Arizona. Ahwatukee Lacrosse is committed to helping local schools teach the basics of lacrosse as well as offer programs to help bring lacrosse to players who may otherwise not be able to participate.
The Middle School Program has two teams:
- Lightning Blue with players from 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
- Lightning Gold with players from 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
- Players on placed on the appropriate team based on skill and try outs.

Registration for Ahwatukee Lacrosse is now open!

The Ahwatukee Lacrosse Middle School program starts in September with pre-season fall ball with official practices starting in October. The official lacrosse league season begins in January with the AYLL games scheduled through March 2011. Ahwatukee Lacrosse registration fees cover both fall ball and the Spring lacrosse league season.

Registration is easy:

Step One: Before registering for Ahwatukee Lacrosse, all players are required to have a current US Lacrosse membership for insurance purposes. The annual membership fee is $25. For your convenience, you can sign-up or renew your US Lacrosse Membership during our registration process or go to www.uslacrosse.org.

Step Two: Register for Ahwatukee Lacrosse. Please complete the registration form and submit. Registration can be found by clicking here. Once registration is complete, you will be directed to pay your registration fee of $415 via PayPal. PayPal is a secure payment and purchasing vendor.
Step Three: Register with Arizona Youth Lacrosse League. Registration with the Arizona Youth Lacrosse League is not open yet. Once you know your team placement, you will then be able to register with the AYLL.

Information on try outs will be posted in September 2010.
Team placement will be based on age, grade level and skill.

Ahwatukee Lacrosse received an equipment grant from US Lacrosse to help educate elementary school children on the game of lacrosse. Ahwatukee Lacrosse will be working with the local elementary schools to integrate lacrosse into the physical education curriculum. The grant from US Lacrosse will allow Ahwatukee Lacrosse to donate sticks, balls, cones and lesson plans to our local schools.

Ahwatukee Lacrosse is looking for Assistant Coaches to help coach our teams. We are looking for coaches with experience coaching youth sports--football, hockey, soccer are good matches for lacrosse.

Knowledge of lacrosse would be great, but not necessary
